3.1 Anti-Black Racism

  • 2020 video: Claimed Black Americans are “slaves to the Democratic Party,” and used stereotypes portraying Black people as lazy.

  • Confederate monument defense: Supported preservation of Confederate symbols.

  • Attacks on Black civil-rights movements: Labeled Black Lives Matter a “terrorist organization.”

 

3.2 Targeted Attacks on Black Women Members of Congress

  • Rep. Cori Bush (D–MO):

    • Harassed Bush in a Capitol hallway, shouting at her and later smearing her on social media.

  • Rep. Maxine Waters (D–CA):

    • Vilified Waters as inciting violence while ignoring more extreme statements from white male colleagues.

  • Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D–MA):

    • Targeted with racialized language framing her as dangerous, radical, or illegitimate.

  • Rep. Ilhan Omar (D–MN):

    • Targeted with both racialized and Islamophobic rhetoric.

  • Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D–TX):

    • May 2024 Oversight hearing: Greene said,

      “I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading.”

    • Widely condemned as a racist, misogynoir-based attempt to attack a Black woman’s appearance and professional competence.

  • Pattern Summary:

    • Greene consistently targets Black women lawmakers with gendered racism, a modern continuation of historic efforts to police Black women’s authority.

3.3 Anti-Asian Racism

  • Advocated expelling “every Chinese person loyal to the CCP.”

  • Used a public anti-Asian slur in 2021.

  • Compared mask and vaccine rules to Jews being sent to gas chambers.
